About the company:
The Stedel Museum was founded in Frankfurt am Main in 1815. Since then, it has been greatly expanded, and today the museum’s collection includes about 2,900 paintings, 600 sculptures, 500 photographs and more than 100,000 drawings and images. All these specimens reflect more than seven hundred years of European art from the beginning of the fourteenth century, including the Renaissance, Baroque, early modern art and modernity.
Among the works are the works of such great cultural figures as Lucas Cranach, Albrecht Durer, Sandro Botticelli, Rembrandt, Jan Vermeer, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Max Beckman, Francis Bacon and Gerhard Richter.
The Contemporary Art Hall has become increasingly popular in recent years.
