Mashpark
Culemannstrase, Hannover, Germany
Description:
Maschpark, located in the German city of Hanover, was laid out in the middle of the XX century around the pompous building of the New Town Hall. In the park there is an artificial lake Mash, created in 1934-1936 on the site of the swamp, after which it was named. On the shore of the lake there is a column and a sculpture erected in honor of the Weimar Republic.
In summer, residents of the city and tourists like to spend time in Mashpark Park, who stroll along its shady alleys planted with poplars and linden trees, admire the local landscapes or relax on the shores of the lake.
