St. James' Church

Description:

The Church of St. James (Jacobikirche) was built in 1361-1461 and is distinguished by a two-headed 72-meter Gothic tower. One of its towers was once used as an observation tower, where a guard sat, notifying citizens of an approaching enemy or a fire. And from the north tower of the cathedral you can still admire the wonderful view of the wooded mountains and valleys surrounding the city.
