Munich – Tour of Pinakothek for children
Description:
Pinakotheka is an art gallery in Munich, one of the most famous galleries in the world. In Pinakothek there are works of masters of the Middle Ages until the beginning of the XX century. The collection of paintings was lovingly collected by the ruling Wittelsbach dynasty in Munich. You will learn about the history of Pinakoteka during the tour.
Pinacoteca is a Greek word for storage for boards and paintings.
In Pinakothek 19 rooms and 49 rooms, where about 700 paintings are presented. Here are German, Dutch, Italian, Flemish, French and Spanish paintings.
I will show you the masterpieces of Pinacoteca, the self-portrait of Durer and Rubens, the only work in Germany by Leonardo da Vinci “Madonna with Carnations” and much, much more.
To set the task of showing the child “all-all” is meaningless – the museum’s collection is so extensive – and even harmful. Our task is to introduce the child to the world of history and art without extinguishing the interest that arises.
You can visit the museum with children of different ages. For example, our youngest son was less than a year old when he was a visitor to Pinakoteka. He was very impressed by the huge paintings of Rubens, he enthusiastically gushed and reached for them with his hands and received some impressions for himself. Of course, he quickly got tired and had to leave, but this visit was not for sure harmful.
Children of preschool age, of course, already perceive what they see more meaningfully.
