The Berolina Brunnen Fountain

Johann-Fichte-Strase 16, Munich, Germany

Description:

The Berolina Brunnen Fountain is one of Berlin’s many attractions. It is located in a park in the Schwabing district of the glorious German city of Munich. This fountain is relatively new, it was created in 1980 by the famous architect Ernst Andreas Rauch.

Berolina Brunnen has a certain subtext, the fountain symbolically depicts Germany. A beautiful woman sits on a broken column. She extended her hand to the water. The water flow is divided by her hand into two, symbolizing Germany, divided into two camps.

The fountain is used for recreation. Around it laid stone tiles, so in the shade you can relax from the scorching sunlight.
