St Emmeram Bridge

Bridge St. Emmeram, English Garden, Munchen, Germany

Description:

The Sant Emmeram Bridge, located in the northern part of the English Park in the German city of Munich, connects the northern part of the garden and the right bank of the Isar River, on which the Sant Emmeran urban district, after which it was named, is located. The 96-meter long bridge was built in 1978 on the site of the bridge, which was known even before the founding of the city of Munich.

On a wooden bridge covered with a metal canopy, only pedestrians and cyclists can move. In 2002, the Sant Emmeram Bridge burned down due to arson and was restored in the winter of 2004. The bridge is not overloaded, as in this part of the child is usually not crowded.
