About the company:

The Jewish Museum in Munich opened in 2007. Nevertheless, the idea of its creation originated more than 80 years ago - the initiator was the chairman of the Israeli community of the 20s Hans Lamm. But despite the fact that Lamm’s initiative was unequivocally supported by the community, the creation of the museum simply did not have enough resources.

In 1980, Munich gallerist Richard Grimm created a small private museum, which soon gained immense popularity. The collections then moved continuously for more than 20 years until the Jewish Center of Munich was finally built in 2006.

Today, in addition to a relatively small permanent collection, the museum presents a wide exhibition program dedicated to various events of centuries-old Jewish history, culture and religion. In addition, on each of the three floors of the museum there are training centers and a library where visitors can find new information and get comprehensive answers to their questions.
