About the company:

The Museum of Ethnology in Munich is the oldest museum of its kind in Germany. For more than 150 years of its history, the museum has collected about 160,000 ethnographic exhibits and art objects from all parts of the world, more than 100,000 unique documentary photographs, as well as a valuable library.

Interestingly, the very first collections housed in the halls of the museum were purchased personally by King Ludwig I of Bavaria - in 1841 his Enlightened Majesty bought an extensive collection of objects from India and Oceania. Today, the museum presents paintings, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, as well as a huge number of archaeological finds. In addition, the Munich Museum of Ethnology houses the oldest preserved kayak, one of the recognizable symbols of North America.

It is worth noting the regular exhibitions held on the basis of the ethnological museum: the total exhibition area of the museum complex is about 4.5 square kilometers, and the high technical equipment of the museum allows organizing events at the highest level.
