About the company:
The German Museum of Achievements of Natural Sciences and Technology was founded on June 28, 1903, by German engineer Oscar von Miller, with the aim of acquainting the population with the technological progress and achievements of various sciences. For the construction of the building, a small island was chosen, which is located on the Isar River, which flows through Munich. The exposition of the museum includes about 17 thousand samples placed on an area of 50 thousand square meters. The most popular exhibition of the museum is the First Railway, which occupies an entire room. It allows you to see the rails, stations, bridges and tunnels of the 18th century.
Also among the local exhibits you can see various old computers, video cameras, watches, designers, typewriters and machines. Many large structures and small objects of the museum tell about the development of various areas of science and technology, such as astronomy, chemistry, geodesy, mathematics, physics and pharmaceuticals. The museum opens its doors to guests from Monday to Friday - from 09:00 to 16:00. The price of an adult ticket is $ 8.5, and a child ticket is $ 3.5.
