Museum of Natural History

The Museum of Natural History in Münster is a great place for educational family holidays. There are many interactive exhibits that allow you to get acquainted with archaeology, geology, ecology and paleontology in a game form. The part of the exposition dedicated to Eastern Siberia is very popular among tourists from Russia. The museum hosts a variety of exhibitions, where visitors can get acquainted with the culture and life of different countries.

Here you will see the first dinosaurs found on the European mainland and the oldest sword of Nuremberg. The staff of the museum conducts continuous research activities - over the past year they have completed about 15 projects that were presented at the city symposium. Not far from the museum is a small shop where you can buy unique handmade souvenirs. The doors of the museum are open to visitors from Monday to Friday - from 09:00 to 16:00. On Saturday and Sunday there are exciting lectures for students and schoolchildren.
