Bavarian Lakes Kimsee and Tegernsee / Chiemsee Tegernsee
Description:
In the morning we leave Munich and, after a little more than an hour, arrive in the port city of Prin, located on the huge picturesque Lake Kimsee. There, in the port, we board a boat and, sailing for 10-15 minutes, we get to the island of Herreninsel, on which the monastery was located and on which our fabulous King Ludwig II in 1887 will begin to build his fourth palace, having previously bought the entire island. We will walk through the park area with fountains and visit this palace.
After visiting the palace, we can dine there in a Bavarian restaurant.
After returning to Prin, we head to Lake Tegen. It'll take about an hour to get there. On Lake Tehran we will visit the city of Rotahägern and a monastery founded in 746, which houses an old brewery since 1050. There we will have dinner and try the famous Tehran beer.
