Potsdam

Potsdam, City of Kings

Description:

Potsdam is a ghost town, a mirage city. It always opens unexpectedly and transports its guests to a long-forgotten era.

For 200 years, the Berlin kings created this city, inventing bizarre images and rules. Here everything mixed, as in a fantastic dream: in luxurious mansions lived hairdressers and sellers, orphans served silkworms, and the city wall did not allow the population to flee.

On our tour we will visit the Old Market Square in front of the Winter Palace, walk along the imposing Brandenburger Strasse Street, drink a cup of thick chocolate in the Dutch Quarter and find ourselves in the Russian village almost in the city center.

And here is the palace of Tsitsilienhof, where in the summer of 1945 three powerful men determined the future world order. Let’s talk about the little-known facts of the Potsdam Conference.

We are waiting for the main alley of Sanssouci with its palaces, parks, flower beds and fountains. It is time to plunge into the incredible stories of the life of Frederick the Great!

On our tour we will walk in the footsteps of kings-innovators and architects with difficult fates, learn how soldiers and artisans divided this city, talk about German cinema and learn about the good deeds of German billionaires.

It'll be interesting.
