Schwarzwald (Black Forest) gets its name from the dark and deep color of the evergreen trees that grow here in abundance. The Romans, who were under their crowns for the first time, could not shake the impression that the forest was filled with spirits.

Many years later, the Black Forest became a favorite place for many famous Russian political and cultural figures. People came here to improve their health, gain inspiration, find peace with themselves. Most of all, he loved Marina Tsvetaeva, who in several of her poems noted the beauty of these magical lands.

However, the most famous Schwarzwald became thanks to the fairy tales of Gauff and the Brothers Grimm. As soon as Wilhelm Gauff breathed the fresh air of the Black Forest, part of his heart was forever taken over by the magical atmosphere of the place.
