Mount Neroberg
Description:
Mount Neroberg is located in the Hessian capital of Wiesbaden at an altitude of 245 meters above sea level. Its top with the city connects the funicular, which is very popular among tourists. At the peak of the mountain is the temple of St. Elizabeth with an observation deck, a round arbor and an exquisite restaurant "Der Turm".
Busy cable car was founded in 1888 and to this day continues to deliver people to the mountain with an interval of 15 minutes. It starts in April and ends in October. The funicular climbs a distance of 430 meters. On Mount Neroberg grow the rarest and most sophisticated varieties of grapes, which are used to make luxurious wine. In 1943, the water complex Opelbad was founded on the mountain, which is a wonderful discovery pool of the city of Wiesbaden.
