Neofitou Douka, 4, Athens, 106 74, Greece

About the company:

The museum was founded in 1986 and its first exhibits were items from the private collection of Nicholas and Dolly Goulandris. Over time, the museum's collection expanded mainly through other valuable collections donated by private individuals. Five years later, when the collection became quite extensive, the museum received a new premises and in 1991 moved to a luxurious mansion made in the neo-classical style.

On the four floors of the Museum there are more than 3000 artifacts that make up the idea of the features of Cycladic, ancient Greek and Cypriot art. Temporary exhibitions are located in the new wing, and a covered glass passage leads to the main building, in the halls of which exhibits forming the basis of the collection are presented.
