Pavel and Alexandra Canellopoulos Museum
About the company:
The Pavel and Alexandra Kanellopoulos Museum is a small and cozy museum located on the northern slope of the Acropolis.
The museum building was built in the 19th century, and the museum itself arose in the second half of the 20th century, when the Canellopoulos family donated their collection of artifacts to the state.
At the moment, the collection of the museum includes more than 6000 objects of art and covers the period from ancient Greece to the present day. The exposition of the museum reflects very well the periods of prosperity and decline of Greek culture. The exhibits of the museum are unique, and some items can be seen only in this museum.
