Group pilgrimage to Athos 1 day (up to 4 people)

The one-day program of the trip to Athos includes a visit to 5 monasteries. From Uranoupolis by ferry pilgrims swim to Daphne, from where they move to the capital of the monastic state of Caries, where the main shrine of Athos is located - the icon of the Mother of God "Eat Worthy" and the most ancient temple of the 9th century "Protat". Then they visit the monastery of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called, built by Russian monks and benefactors, where the honest head of this great saint is located - one of the closest disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. The next place of pilgrimage is the Monastery of Philotheus, where there are Miraculous Icons of the Blessed Virgin “Sweet Lobzanie” and “Gerondis”. The next stop is at the Vatopedi Monastery, where 7 miraculous icons are stored, among which is Vsezaritsa, healing from cancer. Here is also the favorite icon of St. Dmitry of Rostov “Merit and Consolation”. The main shrines of this monastery are the belt of the Most Holy Mother of God and the honest head of St. John Chrysostom. The last point of visit will be the Russian St. Panteleimon Monastery, where the head of the Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon resides. Upon completion of the pilgrimage on a custom-made boat from the pier of the Holy Panteleimon Monastery, departure to Uranupol.

Pilgrims are accompanied by an Orthodox Russian-speaking guide, on Athos they travel by custom transport (off-road vehicle or minibus).

At 19:00, the program is supposed to end.
