The Gulf of Mirabello is located in the eastern part of Crete, which the Venetians called “the bay with a beautiful view”. Here traces of copper mining were found in the III millennium BC. Nowadays, the bay is a popular tourist destination with excellent beaches and picturesque nature.
On the shores of the bay there are various hotels offering tourists a rest on clean, washed by the gentle waves of the sea beaches. You can admire its beauty anywhere in the bay, but the best view can be seen from the tops of the mountains that surround the bay.
