Aida Cave with the River Styx and the fabulous Ariadne Cave

We will visit 2 completely different magical caves, each unique in its kind and not repeatable!
The first cave, the cave of Aida is the largest river cave in the world, i.e. located on the river, the total length of which is more than 21 km. The following 2 river caves: in Peru and France (near Marseille) do not exceed 12 km in length. The uniqueness of the cave is that the river bed passes through it. The cave is rich in stalactites. A great impression is made by the source of the river, breaking straight out of the mountain. The path of our excursion in one direction only, is 520 m, the width is about a, the height of the cave in places reaches more than 30 m. And of course, the beauty of nature itself is of great interest: the rich vegetation along the banks of the river - plane trees, poplars, willows - provide visitors with the opportunity to enjoy unique minutes of peace and rest over a cup of coffee.
The next cave we will visit is the Ariadne Cave – a real miracle of nature, with insanely beautiful stalactites, stalagmites and stalactons, whose height reaches up to 20 m in height! I will tell you a long way)) only in one direction, we will pass 1 km 200 m) and a total of 2.5 km., with a tunnel together! The temperature reaches 17-18 degrees. It is the third largest cave in Greece! There, as in a fairy tale, as in a castle, this cave can not be compared with the Petralonian cave, that’s for sure! Not in beauty, not in size, not in length! There is a good path, provides a visit and for people with disabilities. The only drawback is that you can’t take photos there, for this reason there are not a lot of photos to present them to your view. We will take you to the beautiful city of Dramma, the best tavern for lunch, where you can taste the real traditional Greek dishes, which you will remember for a very long time.
And then we will continue our journey and visit 2 more monasteries of women, this is M.Sv. Paraskeva, in which a large number of holy relics are collected. The second monastery that we will visit is Ikosiyanitsa, it has preserved the oldest temple of all Europe, and its main relic is the Icon of the Mother of God not made with hands. You can see her face if you open your heart to her, then she will open her face to you. The monastery is located at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level! Silence, beauty, solitude and grace, words cannot convey! The road will not be noticeable, and the emotions and beauty of what you see will go with you forever!
