The village of Neos Marmaras

On the west coast of the Sithonia Peninsula, there is one of the favorite tourist resorts of Neos Marmaras. This small port town is located 125 km from the city of Thessaloniki, surrounded by coniferous and deciduous forests.

You can get there from the airport by bus route No. 9, to the IKEA stop in Thessaloniki, then change to bus No. 36, No. 36B, No. 36Z to the Halkidikis Bus Station. The bus to Neos Marmaras runs 1-3 times a day, the cost of the trip is about 13 euros.

The second option is a taxi, the cost of the trip is about 150 euros. Perhaps it makes sense to stay in Thessaloniki-see the sights, enjoy the local cuisine while strolling along the promenade in the evening. In the suburbs of Thessaloniki there are a lot of comfortable beaches with azure sea and picturesque nature.
