Anthropological Museum
About the company:
On the northeastern coast of the Aegean Sea is the delightful peninsula of Halkidiki, whose shape from a bird's eye view resembles a trident. One of the main attractions of Halkidiki is the Petralon cave, where the remains of the oldest man in Europe were discovered. Near the cave is the Anthropological Museum, whose collections consist entirely of exhibits found during excavations in the cave.
The main exposition of the museum is the reconstruction of the hearth, near which the Petrolonian Archanthropus (Ancient Man) was found. The skeleton itself is located in the center of reconstruction.
The rest of the Anthropological Museum will not seem too interesting - in addition to the central exposition, you can see schemes of other finds, as well as fragments of skeletons of ancient animals.
