Pantocrator Gate
Description:
The Pantocrator Gate (or Chania Gate) is located in the western part of the wall. They are decorated on the outside with the relief of the winged lion of St. Mark, carved from stone by the bust of the Pantocrator (Almighty) gate and inscribed in Greek inscription. On the inside there is a medallion with a relief bust of Pantocrator and the inscription Omnipotens ("Almighty" in Latin).
