Castaña Gorge
Description:
The city of Castoria is located at an altitude of 620 meters above sea level. It is famous for its unique nature and beautiful landscapes. The village is located at the beginning of the eponymous gorge. While here, you will see a beautiful beach with fine sand and crystal clear water. Gorges and mountains emphasize the majesty of nature. At the end of the gorge there is a cave open to tourists. Farmland around, evergreen trees. Rocky cliffs – these pictures are impressive. Nevertheless, there is peace and quiet, reminding of the pristine nature.
The gorge can be reached by bus, taxi, car from Athens and other Greek cities, the distance is quite large.
