For those who are interested in the process of sewing fur products, we recommend visiting one of the famous factories of Castoria, where they will clearly show how labor-intensive this process is and how many professions are involved in it.
After visiting the factory, stop at a panoramic platform near Lake Orestiada, on which the city is located. The lake is one of the most beautiful in the Balkans and has recently been declared a nature reserve. For those who travel with children – a little advice: grab a couple of loaves of bread – because our next stop is supposed to be on the picturesque avenue of Swans and children will be able to feed not only swans, but also geese, ducks, dives and other birds.
