Kavala + Philippi + Lydia + SPA mud bath
Description:
My friends, I want to offer you my author’s trip, which will rejuvenate you, cheer you up, fill you spiritually, informationally and emotionally! :)
We will visit one of my favorite cities in Greece, located on the Aegean coast – Kavala. Not one of the most beautiful photos, does not convey the depth and beauty of this amazing city!
One of the most famous sights of the city of Kavala is the Aqueduct, which the locals call Kamares (translated from Greek means "arches"). A magnificent old building connects the old and new parts of the city.
And of course the famous Acropolis of the city! Built by order of Suleiman the Magnificent on a more ancient and scattered settlement. If desired, on foot we can climb the old streets, admire the beauty of cute houses and take wonderful photos. Reaching the Acropolis, today you can see the Central Round Tower, which served as the final point of defense. From there you can enjoy a unique view of the city of Kavala. A warehouse of ammunition and food, later converted into a prison. Guard room for officers and guards. Water tank. Within the walls of the acropolis are two square towers and one polygonal.
There are many interesting, different, beautiful sights in the city, not everyone always sees them, or visits them, for various reasons, but absolutely everything!!! Everyone goes to the city's waterfront! Therefore, I can safely call the calling card of the city – a beautiful promenade that reminds me of Monaco! There are many palm trees, yachts, boats, taverns and beautiful views for photos! What else do you need to rest? Tell me! There you can dine in a traditional tavern where local Greeks eat, drink a glass of wine, to the cries of whirling gulls, relax and feel all the charms of life:
Philippi (UNESCO) In northern Greece it is the best preserved ancient city. He's very interesting! It's all intertwined! Therefore, it is most interesting, because the brightest representatives in the form of architectural structures, representing a particular era, are located there! Theater, shopping area, the first prayer house ap. Pavel, baptismal, vault with jugs, toilet rooms and much more! And then we will move to the temple of Lydia, the rich decoration of the temple made of gold, masaics, glass bright stained glass windows amaze and gently fit this temple into the natural environment of beautiful nature, with a river in which ap. Paul baptized Lydia.
And of course, a special part of our program will be a visit to the SPA center with mud baths, mineral water, hammam and massage! We will devote at least 3 hours of time for these procedures (and more, by prior agreement). All prices for all procedures I will inform you when ordering the tour. Prices are very affordable!
