Papafragos Beach
Description:
Papafragos Beach is located 10 kilometers east of Plaka Papafragas, on the island of Milos. This idyllic creation of nature can satisfy even the most demanding visitor. Sandy beach, located at the bottom of the cave, combined with crystal clear water, changing its color depending on the weather and lighting, and majestic cliffs make this place a real natural masterpiece.
The cave is close to the main road leading to Apollonia and is very easy to reach. However, you need to go to the stairs carved in the rock to go down to the beach. From the top of the cliff, the beach resembles a huge natural pool. A few meters east of the cave is the ancient city of Phylakopi, which is an example of a developed civilization of the Neolithic era.
