Sarakinico Beach

milos, Greece

Description:

Capakinico Beach is one of the most beautiful and unique not only on the island of Milos, but also in Greece. It is named after the Sarakin pirates, who at one time chose this place. White rock formations of volcanic origin around have bizarre unusual shapes.

The beach is sometimes called the Moon Bay by the color of the rocks. Although they look fragile, they are actually strong and reliable. There's no vegetation here. The beach is rocky, umbrellas and sun loungers are not provided, so vacationers should think about protective equipment so as not to get burned. You can only stay here on your own towels. The water is very clean, colorful. The descent is gentle, but there are also places for jumping into the water. The beach is not wide, so in the high season it is crowded. Comfortable shoes are needed to walk on the rocks. Every meter of this beach is a unique place for photos.

You can get there by bus from Adamantos (4 km), but they rarely go. You can also rent a car. In the parking lot near the beach there is a van where you can buy a snack.
