Cafe Bar Scholio is located in the center of the village of Koufonissi, in an old stone house built in 1852 overlooking the sea. The institution is famous for a large selection of excellent drinks, good rock music, unique interior, as well as unlimited hospitality of the hosts.
According to visitors, this is the best bar in the islands of Greece. Scholio regulars recommend to taste freshly squeezed juices, pancakes, yogurt with honey, nuts and fresh fruits here. Every year from June to the end of September, the cafe hosts a photo exhibition Mimis & Nena, which is accompanied by an informative story about the island of Naxos, its history and inhabitants.
