**Paisios is one of the most important figures of modern Orthodox monasticism. He is revered far beyond Greece. And reverence for the holy elder only increases with time, when there are numerous testimonies about the miracles he created. And it is remarkable that there are still contemporaries who remember him personally, and his conversations and writings, books and instructions. And also the last refuge is the tomb of Paisius Svyatogorets, located not far from Thessaloniki, in the town of Suroti, to which people always go.

The burial place of Elder Paisios became a shrine to the entire Orthodox world. Elder Paisios died on July 12, 1994, surrendering his soul to the Lord. From this day on the night of July 11 to 12, the All-Night is held in the monastery every year, in which thousands of pilgrims take part. On the gravestone of the Elder in Hesychast Irio (monastery) is engraved:

Life is over and the breath is interrupted. The body is buried to the joy of the soul. To my great honor, I believe that he will have pity on the poor soul and ask the Savior for only the desire that the Mother of God be with me. Monk Paisios the Holy Mountain.

In 304, during the persecution of Emperor Diocletian, Saint Anastasia suffered many terrible tortures and trials, which she endured with amazing steadfastness and patience. For her accepted martyrdom, the Church later called her the Great Martyr, and for her amazing ability to cure serious diseases, she was called the Rescuer. Unfortunately for the power of St. George. Anastasia was kidnapped in 2014.

Then we will go to the front of the desolate monastery, to the third monastery of the Holy Trinity, of extraordinary beauty, filled with God’s light, which you will be imbued with. Well, then we will be waiting for the way to interesting temples and their property. This is a very interesting trip that will not leave you indifferent to what you saw, I will be very happy to visit these places again with you!
