A pilgrimage to the holy places of Greece will allow believers to touch the healing relics and miraculous icons, pray in Greek churches, see ancient icons and frescoes, miraculously extant to our times. It has always been considered one of the most respected traditions of the believing people. True believers set out to worship important Christian shrines, receive blessings in their endeavors and honor the memory of their ancestors.
Today, pilgrimage has not lost its relevance, and many people from all over the former USSR are eager to visit the Christian shrines of Greece, since this country is a real stronghold of Orthodoxy. It was here that the first temples were built and many spiritual traditions were founded.
You may wonder why the apostle Paul followed? Because you and I will travel a part of his great journey, which he went in 51-53 years. preaching in Greece (I will tell you about this on the way, but I promise not to load you) Before the appearance of the Turks on our land, there were many more monasteries and temples than now (although there are many of them today) and many of them were burned, looted and mutilated or destroyed to the ground. But by the grace of God, the fourth part of all the temples and monasteries that were built earlier (all over Greece) were able to be preserved by a miracle. And today they are hidden from prying eyes – nature. We will visit 6 monasteries with you: To all mourning joys, Panaya Sumela (the icon written by Ap. Luke), St. George, the Most Holy Mother of God, the Holy Cross, St. Constantine and Helena In each monastery you can pray, attach yourself to the holy relics and miraculous holy relics. We will also visit 3 wonderful temples with their shrines, we will also go to Veria to the three steps, to the altar ap. Pavel.
This is a very soulful journey, probably one of my favorite trips, which will fill us spiritually and emotionally, you will never regret this trip for a second, I can promise you 100%! Yes, it takes all day, but the moves are not long, frequent stops, insanely beautiful mesmerizing views, to dizziness! These beautiful places, you will not see on any other excursion! You just have to arm yourself with a camera to take a piece of Greece home with you and show your loved ones!
