Description:

The embankment of Thessaloniki, shaped like a boomerang, is one of the most visited attractions in Greece. On the territory of the embankment, along the coastline, there is a magnificent pedestrian alley with historical monuments, picturesque squares, park areas and tourist companies implementing sea walks. Visitors to the embankment have access to beautiful panoramic views of the Thermaikos Bay, numerous coffee shops and restaurants.

A popular landmark of Greece was built in the southwestern city limits, where the oldest walls were demolished for this purpose. The location of the embankment, which is the connecting link of the Central Port with the city symbol - the White Tower, became the famous area of Agia Triada (Faliro stop), where buses No. 8 and No. 78 stop.
