St. George's Cave

Cave of St. George in the village of Kilkis near the hill of the same name. It's big enough. Routes that are explored and offered to tourists, with a total length of three hundred meters. The cave has two levels, attracting visitors with the beauty of rare stalactic and coral-colored cave formations. They create bizarre forms that look like animals, plants, people. According to research, there is healing air inside the cave. It serves as a therapeutic center, helping to treat bronchial asthma, an allergic type of infection. Staying in it increases the vitality of the body as a whole.

The temperature inside the cave is 15-17 degrees all year round, and the humidity is 99%. At one time, paleontologists found here the remains of fossilized ancient animals. They are between 10,000 and 100,000 years old. They are on display at the Paleontological Museum nearby.
