Thermaicos Bay
Description:
Thermaikos Bay has a length of 160 kilometers, is considered one of the most beautiful and largest in Greece. It is located in the northwestern part of the Aegean Sea. It was named after the city of Terma, which was the predecessor of Thessaloniki. Other famous cities are located on its banks - Halkidiki, Larissa, Imatija and others. Areas along the coast are occupied by private beaches with numerous hotels. There are also swampy areas. Thirteen piers, one of which is Thessaloniki, stretch along it. Several rivers flow into Thermaikos. Along the bay are famous sights of the country, including Mount Olympus, the abode of the gods. We offer a lot of sea walks along the bay with a view of famous places.
You can reach any port along the bay by sea.
