Almost 100 km from Thessaloniki is the most famous mountain in the world - Olympus! This is where the Greeks wrote their gods. We will climb to a height of 1000 m, to the observation deck. Drink mountain tea with honey, soak in the clean, mountain air, admire the peaks, call the gods, take a photo and then go down (by car;)
And at the foot of Olympus is the archaeological park Dion, where you will see the Greek ruins of the 5th century BC. e. - This is the city where Alexander the Great once met Bucephalus. The park takes about 1 hour.
Then we will move to the first capital of Macedonia – Vergina! And you will plunge into the world of the underworld, royal tombs, the reign of Alexander the Great and Philip the Second. You will see the tombs of Philip and Alexander the Great’s son, Alexander the Fourth. And a few other great people.
