St Georges Botanical Gardens
Description:
The St. George’s Botanical Gardens are the city’s largest green space. According to legend, on the island flowers grow where the seed falls. Therefore, the gardens are not only in the capital, but also a few kilometers from it.
Garden "Hyde Park", which is located in St. Georges, is located at the top of the crater of an extinct volcano. From here there is a beautiful view of the bay, the port and the city itself. The garden has a huge variety of palm trees, orchids, ferns and various rare Caribbean plants.
Another equally interesting garden, located 15 minutes from St. Georges. This is the Coastal Garden in St. Pauli, where, regardless of weather conditions, wonderful flowers always bloom. In addition to flowers in the garden there are tropical plants and artificially bred varieties. Also in the garden there is a pond in which several species of amazing tropical fish live. This garden can be visited independently or with an experienced guide.
The botanical gardens of St. Georges amaze with their splendor of flora. Therefore, every vacationer can visit any garden at will, enjoying the splendor and variety of tropical plants.
