Basway Beach

Basway Beach is located in the northeastern part of the island of Grenada. Crystal clear water and a shallow depth near the shore will make you feel comfortable even for those who do not know how to swim. Most of the year it is quiet and calm, but sometimes the ocean can bring unpleasant surprises in the form of storms and hurricanes.

On weekends, this place is very popular among the local population, and on weekdays here it is possible to find a deserted and quiet coast. Near the beach there is a good road connecting it with the nearest towns. Not far from the coast is a picturesque coral reef, which is popular with tourists.

There are many small restaurants near the coast where you can order food for a picnic and dine right on the ocean shore without leaving the beach. Also, the locals contain many shopping tents with uncomplicated, but delicious homemade food. Not far from the beach is Lever National Park, which can be easily reached by taxi.
