Morne Rouge Beach

Morne Rouge Beach is located on the southwestern coast of the island of Grenada, near the city of St. Georges. The waters off the coast of Morne Rouge are considered one of the best places on the island for swimming. The coast is not deep, and the water is always clean and transparent.

The coastal strip of white sand, the warm sea and the green slopes are a landscape that is impossible not to love. Everything here is filled with an atmosphere of bliss and tranquility. On the beach you can rent a chaise longue or hide in the shade of trees.

Morne Rouge Beach is located one mile from the famous Grand Anse Beach, but there are much fewer visitors, making it ideal for privacy and a comfortable stay away from noisy cafes and restaurants. Also, this beach is great for those who are just starting to learn how to swim – whether children or adults.

Not far from Morne Rouge are several hotels and a large shopping center Spice Island Mall. Also in close proximity to the beach is the National Museum of Grenada.
