The Church of the Holy Virgin in Tskhinval
Description:
The Church of the Holy Virgin was established in 1718 and is located in the center of the city of Tskhinval. A monument to Archangel Michael was erected in front of the entrance. The church was built of brick and stone, the names of its founders Kaihosro and Parsadan are written on the door. In 2008, in early August, after the explosions, the church was destroyed, but later reconstructed and many people come to see the sight.
