Tskaltuba cave

There are many unique caves in Georgia. There are more than six hundred of them here. One of the most remarkable can be called Tskaltubskaya or in another way it is called - Gliana. Amateurs from all over the world come to admire this cave.

The cave was discovered and explored in the early 1980s, although its arched entrance has long been known. The length of the wide cave is 11 kilometers. Here you can see an extensive system of channels with differences in height of about 40 meters.

On the floor in the cave there are unique stone flows, in the far part. The floor is made of clay.

How to get there: The town of Tskaltubo is located nine kilometers from Kutaisi. From Kutaisi to Tskaltubo can be reached by bus or minibus.
