Alazani River

Mtskheta, Georgia

Description:

The Alazani mountain river is one of the longest in Georgia (351 km). Alazani is a border river between Georgia and Azerbaijan, although in part.

On the left side, Alazani has many abundant tributaries. They are very full-flowing and never dry up, unlike the right, which only in spring are seething streams, and in summer - parched streams.

Nutrition Alazani is due to snow and rain, however, as with all mountain rivers. Alazani keeps its way along a large grape valley.

How to get there: To get to the Alazani River, you need to come to the city of Mtskheta, which is located 20 km north of Tbilisi.
