Kakheti

Kakheti is a wonderful land of Georgia with beautiful nature, where grapes grow and wine is made. We will visit places that are located in the heart of Kakheti - in the Alazan valley. We will start the tour with a visit to the very beautiful small town of Signaghi. Here you will find a walk through the cozy streets of the city of lovers and, of course, the most interesting legends associated with this place. After that, we will visit the Bodbi Monastery – a sacred place with which an ancient legend is associated. Here is the tomb of St. Nino. Next stop will be at the ancient fortress of Gremi. A tour of a unique architectural complex consisting of a church, bell tower, palace and wine cellar will appeal to everyone without exception! Then we will go to the monastery of Nekresi, located only fifteen minutes drive from the fortress. The beautiful monastery, located high in the mountains, offers a magnificent view of the Alazan valley. After you will get acquainted with the production of wine and tasting several of its varieties at the famous winery "Kindzmarauli", located in the city of Kvareli. We can also go to the Shumi winery. Then we'll go to the Qinandali estate. During a tour of the main “pearl” of the village – the estate of the Kakhetian princes Chavchavadze – you will see a picturesque garden, famous wine cellars and, of course, try several varieties of wine. We will continue our tour to Telavi, where we will see the famous 900-year-old plane tree. This tour will open for you the soul of Georgia and you will fall in love with this country, virgin nature, hospitality, centuries-old shrines, a measured lifestyle and simply, friendly communication!
