Excursion to Tbilisi and Mtskheta

Excursion around the city - tour of Old and New Tbilisi. All interesting monuments of culture and architecture are within a five-minute walk from each other. We begin our tour of the Old Town with the Metekhi Church (13th century), then visit the Synagogue, the Sioni Cathedral (6th-7th centuries) and the Anchiskhati Church (6th century). After that, we go up to the statue “Mother of Georgia”, bypassing the citadel of Narikala (4th century) we go along the mountainside to the sulfur baths and enjoy the views of the Old Town.

Departure to the ancient capital and religious center of Georgia - Mtskheta, a visit to UNESCO World Heritage monuments - the temple-monastery of Jvari (6th century) and the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century), where a piece of Christ's robe is stored.

Return to Tbilisi.
