Tbilisi

My pride and native land of Kakheti

Description:

Centuries-old history, ancient temples, picturesque places, the region is the cradle of winemaking and, of course, our famous Georgian hospitality.

We can offer a trip in two directions.

The first option is an extended route (more than 300 km)

The long route runs along the ring road with a crossing through the Gombori Ridge.

On the way:

  • stopover

  • visitation

  • Visit the largest private grape museum in the world, where nearly 2,000 grape varieties are grown

The museum has a tour (cost is about 10 GEL per person). At the request of guests, you can choose wine tasting - the price depends on the amount and types of wine.

Next, we move towards the city of love Signagha:

  • viewpoint

  • history

If you wish, visit the Bodbi Monastery of St. Nino, one of the most revered and holy places for Georgians and not only.

Dinner (optional)

After a busy day, 99% of guests choose to have dinner at my family home.

  • 10 types of traditional Georgian dishes

  • kebabs fried on a grapevine

  • warmth

After dinner, return to Tbilisi.

This option is not possible every day and depends on:

  • Our capabilities at a specific date

  • guest-wish

On this day, you can also order:

  • Master classes on the preparation of Georgian dishes

  • making sweets (for example, churchhela with their own hands)

  • Invitation of local musicians (often ordered and delighted)

Payment for dinner, master classes and music is discussed separately and personally with me.

The second option is a short route (about 60 km less).

This way:

  • shorter

  • Passes without serpentine (suitable for guests who find it difficult to carry mountain roads)

In the program:

  • winery

  • tour

  • Alazan valley

  • love-town

  • convent

Final stage:

  • dinner in a restaurant or, as 99% of guests choose, dinner in our family home

It's important.

The only thing not included in the second route is the city of Telavi. Kakheti is the largest region of Georgia, and even choosing a long route, it is impossible to see both sides of the Alazan valley.

There is something to strive for 😉

The rest of the program is similar, and all the differences I have outlined above.

And lastly.

I can say with confidence that more than 90% of my guests buy a lot of natural and authentic Georgian products - with my help or on my recommendations.

The price includes:

  • Tour of Kakheti

  • Cost:

    • up to 4 people - 165 €

    • more than 4 people – 45 € per person

Dinner and entrance tickets are paid separately

Family dinner is held by prior arrangement with the guide for a specific day.
