If you have not yet decided what routes you will travel this year, then at any time convenient to you in the period from June 10 to September 10, I will be happy to organize for you a 5-day hike to Lake Tobavarchhili, located in the north-west of Georgia (Mingrelia) in the mountains of the Main Caucasus Range at an altitude of 2650 m above sea level.
You will pass through amazingly beautiful places, watching how broadleaf forests are replaced by coniferous massifs and alpine meadows, see rhododendron thickets, blueberry clearings and waterfalls.
In addition to enjoying nature, you will communicate with shepherds who will treat you to environmentally friendly products and prepare Elarji - viscous corn porridge with suluguni cheese, a highlight of Mingrelian cuisine, and as a bonus will tell different stories, stories and parables.
The cost of the tour for 4 people is $1100. This price includes transfer from Tbilisi and back, accommodation and a feast in a rural house before climbing the mountains and on return, the services of two guides, rental of horses for transportation of equipment and food for the duration of the hike.
If you wish, you can also rent a horse for an additional $20 per day. Come on, it will be a journey to a fairy tale!
