Okay. Heading to Svaneti, and that the road was not tedious, the path to Svaneti divided into 2 days.
Day 1
Tbilisi - Chiatura - Kutaisi
All the sights along the way and in Kutaisi (well, we will have time).
Day 2
Kutaisi - Mestai
Turning a little off the road, we visit the Cave of Prometheus and continue to climb to Svaneti. After many stops to capture the beauty of this way in the evening or even at night we will find ourselves in Svaneti - in the town of Mestia.
We will have a warm dinner at the Mountain Mestia Hotel.
Day 3
Mestia and surroundings
We visit the Mestia Museum, the Hashkili hut and the observation deck. We climb for a day to the ski resort of Khatsvali. ️
After skiing, we return to the hotel, where we will have a warm dinner.
Day 4
Mestia - Tetnuldi
After breakfast we go to the coolest ski Tetnuldi. The last cable car will take us to a height of 3160 m.
After closing the ropes, we return to the hotel (ropeways work from 10:00 to 17:00).
Day 5
Mestia - Ushguli
From Mestia we climb to the highest mountain settlement in Europe - Ushguli.
We visit the pearl of Svaneti - the monastery of the VIII century Lamaria, and in clear weather you can hire horses and climb to the source of the Inguri River.
Back to Mestia by dusk.
Day 6
Mestia - Tbilisi
From Mestia, we return to Tbilisi, visiting bright sights along the way (well, we will have time).
If you have time and desire, before a long road you can stay in the mountains for another day and choose entertainment to your liking:
skiing
horse
snowmobile
quad-cycle
buggy
paragliding
And if you want to extend the time in the mountains – this is also not a problem.
