Heart of India: classic tour of Delhi and Agra

Every year, thousands of tourists come to Agra for the real wonder of the world - the mausoleum of the Taj Mahal. Now the city can rightly be called a tourist mecca. On the first day of the tour you will visit the walls of the famous Red Fort, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal and learn a beautiful story of great love. And in the second part of the trip, I will show you the capital of India and introduce you to its centuries-old history. We will see different sides of Delhi, this city is rightly called the city of contrasts!

We begin our journey with a meeting at a hotel or airport.

TOUR PROGRAMME:

Day 1: A GREAT AGRA

• Go to the famous Agra (transfer on the highway about 3 hours);

Upon arrival in Agra, we will visit the ancient Red Fort (the Red Fort is the history of three generations of the Mughals, long served as the residence of the Great Emperors);

• visit the Taj Mahal mausoleum (which means “The Crown of Palaces”), one of the most famous buildings in the world, dedicated to the great power of love living in the ages (on Fridays the Taj Mahal is always closed);

We can visit the mosaic factory (if desired), because it is in Agra that great masters who create real masterpieces live for generations;

• return to Delhi.

Day 2: City of Contrasts of Delhi

We'll see on that day:

Gurudwara Bangla Sahb – Sikh temple (the largest in Delhi) the main building is made of marble and decorated with golden domes;

Lakshmi Narayan temple is one of the most sacred places, pilgrims come here from all over the country;

Dhobi Ghat laundry, where the old method is still washed;

The well of Agrasen is a bit reminiscent of an ancient temple (by the way, it is a monument of the 14th century, which is perfectly preserved);

• Sightseeing tour of the old city: Red Fort, Jama Masjid Mosque, Thieves Market

We will also see the Parliament Building, the Gate of India and the Presidential Palace.

visit the temple of Aksharhdam - this is the most magnificent Hindu temple in the world, it is listed in the Guinness Book of Records;

I will show you the unusual temple of the Lotus (temple of all religions).

It is possible to change the order of visiting cities:

1st Day Excursion on business, transfer to Agra, overnight in Agra

2nd day of agra tour, and by the evening to return to Delhi
