Bridge over the Bagu River

Baga, Goa, India

Description:

The bridge over the Bagu River in North Goa was built after the influx of tourists to the region and was intended for those wishing to cross the river.

The bridge box, which bears the ominous name “Bridge-coffin” and is the most ordinary, not distinguished by beauty structure, serves both local residents and tourists who want to get from one side of the river to the beach. Before the construction of this bridge, local residents rafted along the river in canoes.
