Colomb Beach
South of Palolem Beach, Goa, India
Description:
Colomb is a beautiful sandy beach located in the southern part of the Indian state of Goa. The beach is modest in size and relative privacy - even in the height of the tourist season, it is never crowded.
Colomb Beach has the shape of a wide horseshoe and is surrounded on all sides by palm groves and rocks. Colomb is a rocky beach. On its sandy shore in abundance there are fragments of rocks and smooth black boulders, which give this place picturesqueness. A separate attraction of Kolomba is the rock Drum Pandava - if you throw stones at it, the rock makes a sound that looks a bit like a drum shot.
Otherwise, Colomb beach is not much different from other beaches of southern Goa. There are also restaurants offering holidaymakers to enjoy traditional Indian cuisine. And right on the sand towering guest houses with thatched roofs - these bungalows can be rented for a reasonable amount. In addition, Colomb will definitely appeal to all lovers of peace and privacy - it is one of the quietest and most peaceful beaches in the region.
