River Tiracole
Description:
The Tiracol is one of the many rivers in Goa that flow into the Arabian Sea. On the river there is a small ferry crossing, through which you can get to the eponymous fort Tiracol. The fortress during the Portuguese colony was a key fort of defense of Goa in the north, as it has a good strategic location.
Before crossing the river Tiracol is Keverim Beach - the beach for which people come for 50 km - a pine grove on the ocean - the cleanest water, pure white sand, maximum 5 -10 people on 4 km of beach. Completely wild place - no infrastructure - the only cafe at the beginning of the beach with drinks.
