Dudhsagar Falls

Mollem National Park, Bhagwan Mahavir Sanctuary, Mollem

Description:

The name of this natural landmark of Goa means “Sea of Milk” and is associated with a very beautiful legend about the princess. A young beauty was swimming in a waterfall, and one day a young prince saw her. To slightly cover her naked body and hide from shame, the girl poured a jug of milk into the water, and she for a while became opaque.

Now all tourists in the footsteps of the legendary princess also seek to swim in the clear water of the pool, which is located at the foot of the waterfall. Cold water will be a great “hydromassage” for your tanned shoulders. Traditional entertainment is also considered feeding monkeys. In addition to the waterfall, you can see the railway bridge, which has survived since British colonization and is still used for train traffic.
